The “Friends of the Soko Fund” organization was established in February 2019. Its aim is to build a wide body of interest and support, across Scotland and beyond, for the work of the Soko Fund. By becoming a “Friend of the Soko Fund” you are showing your support for talented young women in one of the world's poorest countries. Helping them to gain a university education, means benefitting themselves, their families, their communities and their country. As a Friend you will be kept up-to-date with Soko's work and informed about special events which you might like to attend.
Membership of Friends of the Soko Fund is free. However, we ask that you consider regular giving. Monthly or quarterly donations help us to plan more effectively so that we can guarantee support to successful students until graduation. If you would prefer to make a one-off donation at this time that would also be very much appreciated.
