If you satisfy all these criteria and are interested in being nominated to The Soko Fund, contact the Dean of Faculty or your Headteacher. The Dean or Headteacher will then ask you to complete a nomination form and submit it to them. The Soko Fund receives and reviews all nominations. Scholarship candidates are selected based on proven need and academic potential.
The list of our partner universities and schools is below:

Each Soko Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, and a small allowance, which students can use for accommodation and/or study materials. The allowance is currently MK100,000 per academic year. This allowance is paid in one lump sum near the beginning of the academic year.
Scholarships are reviewed annually and students must successfully complete the current year to the satisfaction of the university for their scholarship to be renewed each year. This means that Soko students must pass all their exams in each year in order to continue the scholarship. Unfortunately, the scholarship cannot be renewed if a student has to repeat a year, unless there is an appeal submitted to Soko by the appropriate Dean.
It is Soko's policy that all scholarship holders who complete each year successfully will be supported until graduation. In this way, if you pass each year of the degree, the scholarship is guaranteed.
- Be female and Malawian
- Have a place, or an offer of a place, at one of our partner universities
